Watching the Race on the water

Start Time: 11am April 14

The best place to experience all the action of the start of the Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race is on the water. Bramble Bay is always very busy and crowded before the start so we are asking everyone  to familiarize themselves with the Race Exclusion Zone and follow the advice of the race officials on the day. It can be very chaotic out there and if spectators are inside the Zone, the Race simply cannot start.

The main Zone marked by yellow buoys stretching from the start line up to Redcliffe will be in place from 930am on the morning of the race. The westerly dog leg between Otter Rock, Shorncliffe Pier and the Fisheries beacon will be in place from 11am until the last multihull has passed
